Put the vocabulary into context
Challenge yourself! Find antonyms, synonyms, adjectives, verbs, adverbs etc….
Revise grammar points covered in class little and often
Extend your grammar knowledge by independent study
Practise your grammar using on-line interactive activities
Learn the notorious grammar traps and how to avoid them
Collect general content points & evidence from essays you’ve written over the year and learn some generic phrases and impressive grammar points.
Practice adapting the above for different questions.

KEY WORDS AND EXAM TERMINOLOGY
FREN1/GERM1/SPAN1 =listening, reading and essay paper (2 hours)
FREN2/GERM2/SPAN2 = Speaking test: Stimulus card and conversation questions (20 mins prep, 15 mins test)
FREN3/GERM3/SPAN3 = listening, reading, translation and essay (2.5 hours).
FREN4/GERM4/SPAN4 = speaking test: stimulus card and conversation
(2 cultural topics).
Essay writing:The task is the question! Keep a clear focus on this when essay writing at AS and A2. If there are two parts address both parts!
